Well, Xmas is passed us, and the new year is "pret a commencer"! Looking back, I did have a fine year. Sure there has been some bumps along the way, but I am grateful for the people that I have met, the places I have visited, family and friends that have stood by me and most of all my wife and all that we share in our home. Happy New Year everybody! artkennyb

.....chaos insues.....
i'm putting up the title of my next blog entry today. i've always thought that i possessed clairvoyant powers unpublished and untapped as of yet. of course, this prediction is a no-brainer -->for after this point on.....chaos WILL be in a state of insuing.
i'll be heading out later tonite with noonin and higgns ((names have been changed to protect the innocent)) today started off calmly. there was a cool breeze blowing in. i got up and did some dishes as i scarff't down some breffas and watched the olympics recap. and i'm now getting my things ready for this weekend. a trip out to rochachachaa to see my olde kronies from college days. to paraphrase what a wise man once said to armir ((again, name has been changed)) "two years ago, it rained, last year it was sunny...this year ......WHO KNOW'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN!!!" well, i'm pretty sure i know what will not happen: sobriety! nope, none of that for me....maybe for the afore mentioned noonin ((definitely not his real name)) but as for this soon not-to-be bachelor, i'm pulling out all the stops. so, to the city i loved so dearly: LOOK OUT ROCHACHACHAAAA!
....check back later, for the chaotic details!!!

AAaaaahhhhhh...........and it was a good show. Surprisingly, quite possibly, one of the top 10 shows i've ever been to. I just wanted to go and see the band, hear some good music. But goddDDddammmmmm, they put on a mean show--->the ROCked! From the concert, i have a quote of the day....not really from today, but from last thursday:
"Babba O-Jay is the oldest one!"
A phrase that could be used in a variety of situations. And one i'd plan to use at least once a week.
thank you

C'mon gang,
A.D. is back in the heezeey while your sista's on her neezeeys! They came out with some new stuff. Yes, an entire album full of new, origional songs. I've even heard a rumor that there is now a few, yes, more than one caucasion/white member in the band. So this is a show for all cultures. You know you remember talking to Mr. Wendel back in the nineties, and thought about the game of horse-shoes down in Tennesee, not to mention the classic re-hashing of the Sly and the Family Stone hit Everday People. Plus, if kennyB is gonna be there, who know's what's going to happen!!?!!

well, i finallys got a jobby-job.
.
..
....not a teaching position (that may hafta wait)...
.
..
...but a job that pays ten bones an hour! it's for a company called CHANNEL SOURCE DIRECT . they work with technology companies like Mitsubishi, Ingram Micro, SAP, Apple computers and other high end businesses. Many may say what i do is telemarketing. heck, i've even stated that it almost is, but it is not exactly that. I never cold-call a person's house. The tasks that are assigned to me deal with contacting corporations that already have established relations, and i just maintain the lines of communication. it's fun, and they've been working around my graduate schedule.
well, summer;'s here......so i should get away from the computer....look out world, mary anne is almost ready!!!

....
......and, i know i'm prolly not supposed to do this, just copy/paste another author;'s work, but i found a cool interview with dave matthews about his tour with trey Anastasio ....here;'s a snippet: VH1: What kind of advice was Trey giving you?
DM: He is constantly stressing, "New tunes, new tunes." By the end of the tour, I was like, "New tunes, new tunes. Let's not even rehearse it. We'll just do new tunes, new covers." It was a neat challenge. I don't think I'll take the nightly "new tunes" thing back to the band. Well, maybe ... Also, Trey doesn't beat around the bush. He's an extremely forward person. If he has an idea about something, he comes straight out and says it. It's very difficult for a lot of people to work like that. In our society, you don't go up to someone you have never met before and say "I don't like your hat." .......and a link

well, i went to a thesaurus for this one. it's new terminology to me.......so i did research in several locations. Here's what i came up with:
ax, boot, bounce, cashier, discharge, dismiss, expel, kick out, let go, sack, terminate
fire, give notice, can, dismiss, give the axe, send away, sack, force out, give the sack, terminate
bum's rush, conge, demobilization, door, ejection, gate, pink slip, the boot, the sack, walking papers
and even more synonyms here.....
adjournment, banishment, bounce, brush-off, bum's rush, cold shoulder, conge, deportation, deposal, deposition, discharge, dislodgment, displacement, dispossession, dissolution, door, end, eviction, exile, exorcism, expatriation, expulsion, fluff, freedom, freeing, housecleaning, kiss-off, lay off, liberation, marching orders, notice, ostracism, ouster, permission, pink slip, red-circle, relegation, removal, suspension, the boot, the gate, the push, the sack.
well, that's what's goin' down in kennyB's world. something new all the time, i guess. they do say that at some point for everything there is a time that we would call "first".

death is not easy.
i suppose, if you're the one that is dead, it shant be difficult, but for those of us still around, it is not easy.
on top of beginning a new job this week, and classes, too, there was a death in the family. and it's not like i was extremely close to this person. but i was close to people who knew him well. and that made it hard. to see other people distraught, and mourning the parting of a man. and he was a good man. fire chief. father. grandfather, uncle, cousin and all around good guy. it was not easy to see him lying there, without a smile, which is how i remember him most.
also, i heard of the death of the husband of a girl i went to high school with. i may have met him casually, once, but i didn't know him. the classmate actually lived up the street from me. she wasn't in my close group of friends, but she was definitely nicer than alot of kids in my school. i feel bad for her. and her kids. wish i could give a helping hand. shit, yeah, things won't be easy for her.
...and, as they always come in 3's ...
my great aunt passed away. 99 years olde. she couldn't wait another year. wow, she was born in 1905 !!! i bet life wasn't always easy for her. she watched this nation grow. got to see the beginning of the new millenium. i hope i live until 2075. that's my goal: 99 years olde. well, aunt margret, i'm gonna do some situps for you, get nice and strong, so that i can raise a family as well as you did. and what a great family she brought up. i'll always remember going over to her house and always feeling welcome. whether it was for holiday deserts, or just weekend afternoons. i remember we used to talk about politics and other grown-up topics, and she never talked down to me. she really wanted to hear my opinoin. when i goto the funeral, it's not gonna be easy to see my mother cry. ((i'm getting verclemt - like mike meyers - just thinking about it.))

i'd hate to get pollitical on your ass, but here goes:
.
.
.
......bush hates gays!!! he hates all gays. i'm not gay, but if i was, i'd run and hide. i heard he may make gays where some kind of emblem. not a yellow 6 pointed star, maybe a rainbow on their clothing, to set them apart, so we treat them intolerably. c'mon, let them get married, for God sakes! yes it is against the catholic religion, but not against the constitution to marry the same sex. are they more violent then other couples --i think not. are they smelly --quite the contrary ....let them marry if they want. or at least let stated decide whether it is legal or permissable.
.....please comment on this one, lemme know i'm not Krazi
